From March 27 onwards, the Taiwan Machine Tool and Accessory Builder's Association (TMBA) will host the 8th Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS 2024) at Taipei Nangang International Exhibition Center (TAINEX)! Featuring over 600 exhibitors and 3,350 booths, the event will draw more than 3,000 foreign buyers from 30 countries and is anticipated to welcome 55,000 visitors.

According to TMBA, the theme of TMTS 2024 is "DX & GX for a Sustainable Future," focusing on Digital Transformation (DX) and Green Transformation (GX). This theme encompasses ten key elements: Smart Manufacturing, Data Analytics and Cloud Computing, AIoT, Digital Twin/Human-Machine Collaboration, Blockchain Technology, Smart Energy Conservation, Environmental Certification, Resource Recycling and Reuse, Green Supply Chain, and Sustainable Product Design.

In line with the emphasis on Digital Transformation, TMTS 2024 is collaborating with VDW and VDMA to introduce an Umati (Universal Machine Technology Interface) special showcase section. This initiative aims to showcase solutions for enhancing communication efficiency in the manufacturing sector.

Moreover, to address the challenges of the low-carbon era, TMTS 2024 promotes the development of energy-saving equipment and components through the Green Machine Tool Energy Saving Label Assessment. Numerous exhibitors are showcasing their remarkable achievements in energy saving, environmental certification, resource reuse, green supply chain practices, and sustainable product design.

With international business travel gradually returning to normal, TMBA anticipates that TMTS 2024 will draw visitors from around 30 countries, including Japan, Germany, Turkey, Korea, Canada, India, South Africa, Sweden, Brazil, Indonesia, and more. Notably, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India are organizing buyers' groups, signaling a growing interest from foreign visitors. TMBA remains optimistic that this year's TMTS will attract at least 55,000 visitors from both domestic and international.
