According to a report from the Economist Intelligence Unit, global electric vehicle (EV) sales are projected to surge by 21% year-on-year, reaching 14.9 million units in 2024. This surge would constitute 24.6% of global new vehicle sales, marking a 3.6% increase in overall market share. These robust sales figures not only underscore the prosperity of the EV market but also highlight the effectiveness of national policies aimed at promoting EV adoption and responding to growing market demand.

Against the backdrop of the continued expansion of the global EV market and favorable operating conditions for auto parts manufacturers in the fourth quarter of 2023, Taiwan's auto parts manufacturers are actively expanding their business footprint into potential markets worldwide. This expansion is helping to showcase the island's high-quality auto parts products on the global stage.

In response to this trend, Economic Daily News/CENS has been and will continue to participate in various international exhibitions throughout 2023 and 2024. The goal is to promote Taiwan's top-notch auto parts suppliers globally and make it easier and more efficient for international buyers to connect with the most suitable suppliers from Taiwan.

INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico (Booth: 2004)

Collaboratively organized by major automobile associations APRA, MEMA, and SEMA, the Auto Parts & Accessories Show in Mexico functions as a sister exhibition to the American APPEX show and the SEMA show, boasting a history of over 20 years.

Since 2019, Messe Frankfurt has taken on the role of hosting the exhibition, and the event gained significant momentum in 2016 with the inclusion of Ita (The Industria Nacional de Autopartes, A.C.), Mexico's largest representative organization for the auto parts manufacturing industry. This strategic partnership has heightened the exhibition's impact and prominence.

Today, widely recognized as the most crucial international trade fair for the automotive aftermarket in Latin America, INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico has evolved into a vital meeting point for industry professionals seeking new suppliers and staying informed about the latest technologies and analytical product choices.

Ranked as the world's fourth-largest manufacturer of automotive parts and accessories and the seventh-largest automobile supplier globally, Mexico boasts an impressive export rate, with nearly 90% of its auto parts being shipped abroad. The country holds the distinction of being the largest supplier of auto parts to the United States.

In July 2020, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) came into effect. Taiwan, as one of the five largest investors in Mexico, has attracted numerous manufacturers to actively invest and establish factories in Mexico in recent years, serving as a strategic entry point into the North, Central, and South American markets.
